Straightforward photographs. Maybe 'cleaned up' a little in Adobe photoshop, but not significantly altered. Just modest little images from the word around me. Looks at everyday things, in everyday places... it is in an examination of the commonplace that we find the extaordinary.

Digitally altered images. Using Adobe Photoshop and a modicum of creativity, one can accomplish anything. Some of the source images are mine, some are from the media, some from other people, but once they've been worked on & worked over by me in Adobe, they become my creations... Like Frankenstein's monster... He didn't really MAKE any of the creature, just assembled him from already existing parts.

The battle rages on in my mind. Painting is CREATING and photography is SELECTING so why has picture-taking supplanted picture-making in our world? Why do people cease to be interested in painted images and hypnotized by photographic ones? I have a couple of theories, but I don't know. I still like to paint. See my paints at-
